“Recently, the International Criminal Court used the footage we’ve been gathering to indict the [Sudanese] defence minister with war crimes. And Omar al-Bashir said, ‘how would you like it, Mr. Clooney, if every time you left your house, there was a camera watching you?’ Well, I believe that I’d like indicted war criminals to enjoy the same level of celebrity as me. That seems fair. That’s our objective. To just shine a light on it.”
